At both the ReinierHaga Orthopedic Centre and Xpert Clinics you can make an appointment for an initial consultation. Below you will find information on the differences (and similarities) between the two clinics. To make an appointment, it is important that you have a referral from your GP or another specialist. If necessary, ask your health insurer where it is best for you to go.
Xpert Clinics
Xpert Clinics Orthopedics is part of Xpert Clinics, a focus clinic offering medical care from multiple disciplines. Stephan Vehmeijer works as an orthopedic surgeon at the Rotterdam branch. All patients up to 80 years of age, who are otherwise in good health, can be operated on here. The waiting time for an outpatient visit or surgery here will generally be very short. ReinierHaga Orthopaedic Centre
The ReinierHaga Orthopedic Centre is open to all patients. Primary hips are placed here, but also second surgeries, or revisions, are performed here. In the ReinierHaga Orthopedic Centre there is also the possibility of robot-arm, or robot-assisted, surgery. To make an appointment, it is important that you have a referral from your GP or from another specialist.
